Antica Productions and TellTale Industries are bolstering their senior management and transatlantic development efforts, in both audio and TV, by creating a new team structure to support the creation of IP across all platforms.

Laura Regehr, the producer of multiple award-winning shows for Antica, including “Love, Janessa,” has been promoted to Head of Audio. Geoff Siskind, former showrunner of the TV show Storage Wars Canada and the podcast Trailblazers with Walter Isaacson, joins the Toronto office as Head of Television. Jen Whyntie comes in as Head of Development for Antica and TellTale after a decade of producing, editing, and developing over two hundred BBC Radio 4 and BBC World Service English shows. Samantha MacLean, formerly at Netflix Canada and CBC, joins as a development coordinator in Toronto.

The two companies (Antica owns a minority stake in TellTale) have produced numerous high-profile audio projects leveraging their cross-pond position and expertise, recently including the award-nominated and Triton Digital’s 2023 #1 Top Canadian Podcast Debut “The No Good, Terribly Kind, Wonderful Lives and Tragic Deaths of Barry and Honey Sherman” (Lionsgate+CBC) and “Educating Daisy” (Audible). They also produced the award-winning “Love, Janessa” (BBC/CBC), Black Podcasting Awards’ Best Limited Series 2023, and were nominated for the upcoming British Podcast and Signal awards.

President of Antica Productions, Stuart Coxe, said, “It’s a challenging environment, but also full of opportunities. I’m delighted with our teams’ combined success this year and excited by what’s currently in our development pipeline. We continue to look for ways to leverage our partnerships in developing compelling stories for global audiences, in audio and TV.”

Jago Lee, co-founder and managing director at TellTale Industries, adds: “In Jen and Sam, we’re lucky to have found a digitally savvy, globally networked creative duo to help us  identify and unlock the layered stories we love to tell.”
