Dr Kevin Fong is a multi-award winning author, broadcaster and medic who has written and presented major TV, radio and podcast series including 13 Minutes to the Moon (BBC World Service); Shuttle: The Final Mission for BBC2, and The Royal Institution Christmas Lectures, entitled, How to Survive in Space. A consultant anaesthetist and Professor of public engagement and innovation at University College London, Kevin was seconded to NHS England as National Clinical Advisor in Emergency Preparedness Resilience and Response for the COVID-19 incident. Kevin has a long standing interest in human space exploration and space medicine and has worked with NASA’s Human Adaptation and Countermeasures Office at Johnson Space Centre in Houston. When not doing all of that, he can be found flying across SE England with Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex.
